Conclusion Builder
Learn how to generate a conclusion from your existing thesis chapters and include limitations or future research.
Conclusion Builder helps you create a draft conclusion using content from your existing thesis. You choose which chapters should be considered and whether the conclusion should also address limitations and future research.
Opening Conclusion Builder
Open the conclusion section
Go to the thesis section where you want to create your conclusion.
Click the sparkle icon
Use the sparkle icon on the left side of the section.
Open Create with AI
The Conclusion Builder panel opens on the right.
Selecting thesis chapters
Choose the chapters that should provide context for the conclusion. Select the parts of your thesis that contain the findings, arguments and research context required for a useful summary.
Choosing the output length
- Short: approximately 500 words
- Medium: approximately 1,000 words
- Long: approximately 2,000 words
Additional conclusion options
- Limitations: Include a section addressing limitations of the research.
- Outlook / Future Research: Include suggestions or considerations for future research.
Generating the conclusion
Select the relevant chapters
Choose the thesis chapters that should be considered when creating the conclusion.
Choose the length
Select Short, Medium or Long.
Choose additional topics
Enable Limitations and Outlook / Future Research if you want these topics included.
Click Generate Conclusion
Start the conclusion generation.
Review and refine the result
Read the generated conclusion in the thesis editor and make sure it accurately reflects the findings and scope of your work.
Check the final conclusion carefully
Your conclusion should accurately reflect what was actually investigated and found in your thesis. Remove claims that go beyond your results and adapt limitations and future research suggestions to your real project.
Student Points
Academly checks whether enough Student Points are available before starting Conclusion generation. If there are not enough points, the generation is blocked and the interface displays a corresponding message.
