    Understanding Student Points in Academly

    Student Points (SP) are the usage credits used for AI-powered features in Academly. Each supported feature has a fixed Student Point cost.

    Student Points let you use AI features across Academly. The number of points used depends on the feature you choose. Student Points are separate from Academly's internal AI costs.

    How Student Points work

    AI-powered features use a fixed number of Student Points each time they are used. The current feature costs include:

    • Fox AI: 2 SP
    • Platform Assistant: 2 SP
    • Topic Explorer: 5 SP
    • Research Setup: 10 SP
    • R / Analysis: 10 SP
    • AI Supervisor: 15 SP
    • Coding / Code Apply: 15 SP
    • Discussion Builder: 20 SP
    • Conclusion Builder: 20 SP
    • Summary: 20 SP
    • Theory Builder: 30 SP
    • Methodology Builder: 30 SP

    Student Points by plan

    • Free: 140 SP included once
    • Pro: Up to 2,000 SP per monthly entitlement
    • Author: Up to 4,000 SP per monthly entitlement
    • Lifetime: Up to 4,000 SP per month

    Monthly Student Points refill up to the limit of your plan. They are not added as a full amount on top of your existing balance.

    Example

    If you are on Pro and have 1,860 SP remaining when your next refill is due, your balance is refilled to 2,000 SP. In this example, 140 SP are added.

    Your current Student Point balance is shown in the Academly interface.

    Your account and billing area shows the plan connected to your account.
